Kilkenny hotels is one of my favorite sites to search for hotels. They have huge database of information about all hotels in numerous number of cities. They have very cool search box, with three tabs that allow to search for your favorite hotel in different ways including:

1. city and country
2. map! You click on the map and you will get the hotels, very creative.
3. Hotel name: if you have preference on hotels, you may search for your favorite hotels.

They have hotel data about many countries like Brazil, Jordan, Ireland (about Ireland itself) and more. They feature list of popular dastinations Amsterdam, and many more popular cities. I wish I knew before about this site when I was planning my Amsterdam trip in 2002. The site maintains database about discounted hotels, and ratings for most hotels.

If you are not fan of the tabbed search box, check this list of all countries hotels. I wish you like it. Find hotels to all countries you imagine like, i found on their list countries that ive never heard about like Guam, Grenada, etc. You may consider joining their free club so you can find your cheap, discounted or favorite hotel.
