For your web site pages, you must consider optimizing the following elements in every page. The elements are sorted by importance (at least in my opinion).
- Page title.
- Page URL.
- Page headers (h1, h2, etc.).
- Content.
- Click depth
- Internal navigation
- Meta tags description and keywords.
- Alt tags for every image.
- The use of bold or italic for the keywords you are trying to optimize.
Page title is the most important element, you must not have duplicate titles in your entire site or the Search Engines will be wondering which page should rank for that title. Every page must have its title, headers, and content to be considered different by search engines.
In the next coming weeks, I will be writing about these elements to help you in your SEO process.

here’s another interesting resource I came across that lists all potential SEO elements (including on page factors), ranks them and shows you how to implement them - in a different section.
