I would like to give a short SEO tip. Many people think that domain name can be useful for SEO. They may consider buying keyword rich domains to rank for these keywords.
Domain name will NOT help you to rank. Domain name can be useful for SEO only in cases of exact match between the keyword and your domain name, and this is not going to be useful for competitive keywords.
My domain name is adiazar.com, however, if you try to google for these keywords:
Los Angeles Search Engine Optimization
Los Angeles seo Services
Los Angeles SEO
Los Angeles SEO expert
You will find my site rank # 1 or # 2. I did not need domain name like:
www.los-angeles-seo.com to rank, i rank high among millions of results.
The summary of this post, try to pick a domain name that is easy for your visitors to remember, try to be creative in choosing domain name. Do not be so generic, people bored from generic domain names. Do not overuse dashes for the sake of Search engines. If I were you, i would not use any special character since it makes it hard for your visitors to type your domain.

Great post Adi. I agree with you but also think that if you can use a keyword in your url without causing problems for customers it is a benefit. There is a small benfit to using the url in the domain I believe. For instance Google Utah internet marketing. The site using that exact domain is number one and has been for a very long time. Our site (Vizad) is number two and have had a very difficult time getting above that url.
